My healing testimony won’t come as a surprise to those who have experienced the healing grace of God, but for those who have never experienced healing in the Name of Jesus, here is good news-JESUS HEALS! I’ve been having pain on the left side of my chest for the past 4-5 months. Initially the pain was not severe, and so I didn’t take it seriously. As time went by, the pain became more frequent, and the level of pain kept increasing. In the fourth month, the pain was excruciating, it was there constantly, and slowly spread all over my neck and shoulder area. Now the pain was accompanied by fever, and my upper back got affected too. The pain was too much to bear, and it was getting only worse. I started imagining the worst, that I could be inflicted with something serious. Moreover the thought that I might have to undergo surgery terrified me.
At this point, I began to do what I knew to do-pray earnestly for healing. I even decided to fast, thinking that will bring the answer. I decided to take the fast on a Sunday, 30 May 2017. When I woke up that Sunday morning i.e.30 april, I heard a voice speak, “Do you think fasting can remove your sins? Do you think your fasting can bring healing into your life?” I then told myself, “Only Jesus’ blood can wash me clean, only Jesus can heal me. I have to rely on His grace.” I gave up the idea of fasting, and decided to attend church instead. Pastor Koheni ministered that morning about ‘performance oriented Christians’, people who make a show of being very religious in front of people but do not enter the rest of God through His grace. During ministry time, I responded to the invitation for prayer of healing believing that through His grace I’ll be healed . He prayed for me, after prayer he enquired whether there was any difference after the prayer, or whether I felt a warm sensation pass through my body. I felt nothing!
And so I went home a little disappointed. During my evening walk, I was making plans about seeing the doctor on Monday etc, as I continued to walk, I felt freshness come over my body, the fever also left me. Strength had come into my body. Honestly, I could not believe what I was experiencing. I then realised that I was healed. Since that day, I’ve been set free of the different problems that I was facing. Praise God, our healer.
