In the year 2017, I met with an accident in the Lalmati/landslide area. I was driving & 2 of my friends were with me in the car. My Zen collided with a mini truck. After the accident, the only thing I remember is waking up in the hospital surrounded by people and doctors. There was dislocation in different parts of my left leg, plus cracks in the bone, some bones broke & got out of place. I spend a long time being treated, but I could not get back to normal as far as using my left leg was concerned.

And so, from 2017 I have been limping, I’ve needed help/support to sit and even to stand up. At the most, I could lift my left leg only 4 or 5 inches off the ground. I’ve gone through a lot of pain and trauma. Many of the body movements that people do normally became a tough task for me.

My friends brought me to the Faith Harvest Prayer home, I stayed there for 21 days. The last day of my stay was 27 February, and the Revival services were happening in Church, which we were also attending.

That day I entered the Church telling God, “God, if You are who You say You are, do something in my life.” Actually it was more like challenging Him. Toward the end of the service, Ps. Shan gave the call for healing, my friend pushed me to go up to receive healing. Around 5 people came and laid their hands on me and prayed. Nothing happened! I started telling myself, “None of this is real.”

And just when I was about to go back to my seat, I saw my friend coming toward me from the other side. She hugged and held me back, and got Ps. Ren to pray for me after sharing my problem to him.

He prayed and asked me to lift my legs, I was fearful because till then I could hardly lift it 4 or 5 inches off the floor, but he said, ‘you can do it’. I found that my leg came up to my chest. That was WOW!  After that he said, ‘Vinol, squat/sit on the floor’. This was another impossible thing for me to do since 2017. Now fear took over again, but he said, ‘you can do it(again),’ all the while he kept praying for me. I tried squating, & I found my self fully on the floor without any difficulty. Sitting down without help and support was the most difficult thing for me to do, but I found myself doing that without any support. Right after that he said, ‘Now stand up,’ I thought to myself, this one is going to be difficult, but he encouraged me and said, just do it. I sort of reached out for help, but he said, you stand up yourself. I could stand up on my own.  I started shouting for joy.

What happened was a miracle! God healed me.

For more than 4 years I needed help to sit/stand, I could lift my legs only a few inches off the ground, I was limping all the time.

But now I’m free and healed- I can sit and stand without any difficulty, I can lift my leg freely, I don’t have to limp while walking anymore.

I give thanks to our wonderful God. And I also thank the Church. I have felt acceptance in this place.
