We had a healthy baby, and when the Church announced for baby dedication, in 2016, we were anxiously waiting for the day. But around that time the baby started developing some complications. We rushed her to Naga Hospital for investigation. We were shocked to learn that she has to undergo surgery. With tears in our eyes, we left the baby in the hands of the doctor wondering what the report will be. By the grace of God, surgery was successful, but she had to be admitted to the ICU. Her case became critical. We requested the Church leaders and the members to pray for our child. Everytime she became critical, the Pastors and church members prayed for her, and at that point of time she used to become better. When we were going through a very tough time as a family, our phones were full of text messages , and calls from the Pastors and church members inquiring about the condition of the baby. The Pastors and church members did not give up and continued to support through prayer, bringing food stuff and financial assistance. The greater part of our burden was shouldered by the church, and we really experienced the love of God in a big way through the church. We were not alone in this fight and the agony of having our child sick faded away.
At present she has fully recovered and is healthy and strong, we don’t hear her cries of pain anymore. We even took her to church today. From the depth of our hearts we thank the church for your love and concern. We are truly a family.
