On the night of 10 May 2021, a friend and I had a mutual and urgent need for someone to pray with us. I got the flyer of Faith Harvest Church
from a niece of mine who is a member of the FHC, Kohima. Immediately, I whatsapped Pastor Yapang checking on her availability to speak
and requesting prayers. Thankfully, we could connect the next day.
I am extremely grateful to Ps. Yapang for ministering to us with the word of God, at a time when we most needed it. She urged us to be strong,
and to cast all of our fear and anxiety at the feet of God, and exhorted us with the timely reminder from the book of II Timothy 1:7:
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.”
The power of prayer over a conference call was incredible. This is a collective battle, and at times like this, I am grateful that the FHC continues
to stand in the gap, intercede and minister, offering support, comfort, and fellowship to those of us who are grieving, in need of healing touch,
in need of prayers and for those who are far away from home.
As much as I have been blessed and comforted by Pastor Shan Kikon’s two sermons, 7 Ways to Stay in Faith in Difficult Times and Dealing with Fear, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, I am confident anyone reading this will find the joy and peace in the two sermons too.
Thank you, FHC.
